Catapult is a ministry of Living Hope for 7th-12th grade students.

The Vision of Catapult: 

Follow Jesus

And calling the crowd to him with his disciples, he said to them, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. Mark 8:34 (ESV)

And he said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Matthew 4:19 (ESV)

Be Discipled

Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm. Proverbs 13:20 (ESV)

For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. Romans 12:4-5 (ESV)

Make Disciples

And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20 (ESV)

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth. Acts 1:8

 

The goal of the ministry is to prepare students to become committed followers of Christ.

Get involved in Catapult in the following ways:

  • Contact (Quarterly)

    • Contact is a quarterly event targeting students in our community.
    • The aim is to invite others and introduce them to Christ through activities

  • Collision (Sundays)

    • Our Sunday services take place each week at 11am-12:15pm in our Catapult Chapel.
    • The aim of Collision is simply to glorify Christ through our worship.

  • HUB (Fridays)

    • The HUB is the central meeting place for our midweek cell groups that take place on Friday nights in the Catapult Chapel from 7:30pm-9:30pm.
    • Students connect with each other and build community through fellowship in small groups broken down by grade and gender.

  • Catalyst

    • Catalyst is our student leadership and discipleship training where students grow in their relationship with Christ, serve the ministry and develop as leaders.
